History

In 1947, Mr Basilio Markowicz arrived in Buenos Aires, after being forced to abandon his beloved Ukraine against his will. Finally, he settled on Villa Dominicio, in the city of Avellaneda, as a place where he could truly have the possibility to live in complete freedom, and build a future for himself and his family. He made his home there, and began working toward his dream of owning a metallurgy shop.

In the beginning, the shop performed various works, becoming known for repairs and the construction of boilers. These beginnings convinced him to devote himself completely to this work, become specialized, and, by the mid 1960s, establish a new manufacturing plant intended specifically for the construction of boilers. Ten years later, his boilers were being exported to Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, and Libya.

Weathering the fluctuations of the local economy, Calderas Argentinas Markowicz established itself in the local market and is currently a robust enterprise that provides a broad range of boilers with proven quality to the market, together with professional advising.
